Estuary Gallery is a new curatorial project presenting work of all media that explores the relationship between the artist and their environment. The gallery is directed by Marla Leigh Caplan. Marla received her MFA from Bard College after completing the ICP-Bard Program in Advanced Photographic Studies at the International Center of Photography. Her undergraduate work in philosophy at Vassar focused on existentialism and phenomenology. Marla’s recent curatorial endeavors, the exhibitions (super)natural and The Exquisite Landscape, have been shown at the New York Photo Festival and the School of the International Center of Photography. Marla is an artist and writer who recently relocated to Beacon from Brooklyn, NY.
